Creek are an experienced 5-piece band fronted by a dynamic female vocalist and professional musicians on Vocals, Guitars Bass & Drums, we provide quality, energy and exceptional musicianship.
Playing everything from classic party tunes by the likes of Tina Turner, Stevie Wonder and Cher to classic singalong songs from Bryan Adams and Queen as well as current chart hits with a party rocking flavor. Creek is guaranteed to have your guests on the dance floor all night.
With over a decade of experience together playing functions all over the UK and abroad, Creek will travel to and tailor any event to your individual needs. Using high quality sound equipment and lighting, we can guarantee a fantastic live experience and personal touch.
Can you do a DJ set?
Yes we can! you can choose to have a DJ set after our final live set. This is not a full on DJ rather a playlist tailored to your requirements so you get all your favorite songs played - guaranteed!
Will you travel?
Definitely! Our standard fee covers all of Kent but we will travel to any part of the UK
Our venue has a sound limiter is that a problem?
Some venues have sound limiters that are set at extremely low levels and request that only an electric drum kit can be used. Even though we do use an electric drum kit, It is best to put us in direct contact with the venue and we can find out.
What will you require at the event?
Power: 2 x double 13amp socket outlets
Space: We generally fit comfortably in a space of 4 meters x 2.5 meters however we have squeezed into much smaller spaces without too much fuss.
How long do you need to set up?
It takes around 90 minutes to set up including sound check which would involve a little bit of noise – it’s not too unpleasant and usually just involves checking the level of each instrument and running through a song for a couple of minutes. This can be done any- time after 5pm. If an earlier setup is required, this may be subject to an extra charge. It is best to contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
What time will you start?
If we set up at 5pm we could start our first set as early as 6:30pm however most people have us start between 8:30pm and 9:00pm so with 2 x 1 hour sets including a half our break has us finishing up around 11:00pm to 11:30. We can, of course, tailor this to your individual needs.
When do you need payment?
Generally speaking, most clients pay us on the day when we arrive either via cash or card, however we can accept bank transfer beforehand.
Do you require a deposit?
No deposit is required, however our contract must be signed and returned to secure the date.
